STUDY PLAN FOR ONE-ON-ONE COURSES

One-on-One courses and courses of Spanish for Specific Purposes are carefully designed and tailored to the student’s specific learning needs according to the student’s current level of studies and academic interests. Students are encouraged to inform the Academic Department about any specific interests of study so we can include them in the course curricula.

Upon registration you will take a placement test that will determine your current level of Spanish and will help us organize your one-on-one course accordingly. 

The Academic Department of Hispana can advise you, before you make a decision, about the many options of study and about which type of Spanish course or Spanish for specific purposes course is most appropriate for you, according to your academic needs, your stay in Lima, and your activities of interest. 

• One-on-One Courses are flexible: There is no minimum total number of hours you must study in a one-on-one course (From 1.5 hours to 80-hour package).
• You can choose your class schedule at your convenience and bring forward or postpone your lessons within a 6 month period without penalty provided that you give a 24-hour notice to the school Registration Office.
• Classes are available at discounted-price packages for students studying 20, 40, 60 or 80 hours.
• One-on-One Courses follow a student-centered curriculum: A Placement Test will be applied to determine your current level of Spanish; and you can prioritize topics of academic and sociocultural interest and even combine Spanish for Specific Purpose Courses (e.g. General Spanish + Culture / Grammar Review + Business Spanish)
